There are five bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, two living rooms and fully equipped kitchen. The property is situated just 15 minutes from the beautiful town centre of Como, the lake’s unofficial capital. The very center of the town was once part of the Roman Empire in AD 172 and is still enclosed by a fortified wall. The historic parts of the town hold many precious architectural jewels, including the 14th century Gothic-Renaissance cathedral that took over 350 years to build, the Broletto and other fascinating medieval buildings. Lakeside promenade walks, perfectly formed piazzas, typical Italian cafe lined walkways, boutiques galore as well as the home of The Alessandro Volta's museum (the inventor of electricity back in 1801). Shoppers will love Como as it is an important center for silk manufacturing both in design and print of the fabrics. | To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival. | |||||||||||||||||||||
